Technea (pronounced tek-nay-ah) takes its name from the Greek word technē (τέχνη), meaning skill or craft. It refers to practical knowledge applied in the real world. The name reflects a clear belief: strategy only has value when it becomes lived practice.

Leadership & Experience

I am Liza Zamboglou, Founder and Director of Technea.
I bring more than fifteen years of leadership experience in digital education and institutional transformation across higher education and public sector environments. My work has operated at institutional scale, including:
  • Leading large-scale virtual learning environment transformation
  • Supporting institution-wide AI strategy and governance development
  • Designing minimum standards and quality frameworks
  • Facilitating cross-stakeholder consultation across leadership and operational teams
  • Embedding digital and AI capability across complex organisations
This includes working directly with executive leadership, governance committees, and transformation teams in regulated, high-accountability settings.

I understand the realities senior leaders navigate: constrained budgets and reduced capacity, regulatory scrutiny, workforce confidence, and the expectation to modernise and adopt AI responsibly without compromising institutional stability.
